She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hartley and Helen Hartley; her siblings, Ivan, Leon, Roy and Sandra Hartley (Phil Bestwick); and her husband Phil Bestwick.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Clements (Carl) of Kansas City, Gary Hartley (Sandy) of Morrill, Bob Hartley (Peggy) of Branson and Randy Hartley of Fairview; her children, Ron Brook of Fairview, Rhonda Doud (Dave Fiedler) of Holton, Kevin Brook (Kristen) of Billings, Jenny Baker (Jim Brassfield) of Hiawatha, Kim, Ann and Mark; her grandchildren, Skyler, Elizabeth, Matthew, Nicole, Isaiah, Madison and Alyssa; and her great grandchildren, Hadley, Myles, Dean, Emma and Hudson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (124 S 7th St, Hiawatha, KS 66434). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Fairview United Church of Christ (311 S High St, Fairview, KS 66425).
