He is survived by: his mother Katharina Bergen (Krahn) of Ontario Canada; his wife Maria Wall of Copeland Kansas; his children, Markus, Jonathan, Albert, Kathy, Laura and Julia; and his siblings, Johan, Cornelius, Abram, Peter, David, Isaak, George Bergen, Helena Blatz, Maria Klassen and Elizabeth Wiebe.
