She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Nightengale and Ella Nightengale (Nichols); and her siblings, Harlan, Virgil, Donald, Marvin, Curtis Nightengale, Irene and Janette Nightengale.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Unruh; her children, Lowell Unruh, Nancy Unruh (Kenneth) and Judy Smith (Kevin); her brother John Nightengale; her sister-in-law Joan Nightengale; and her grandchildren, Matthew Unruh (Andrea), Amanda Ratzlaff (Kelly), Teresa Gerber (Kevin), Makenzie Cottrell (Leon) and Tyrone Smith (Maryann Smith-Kamunge). She is also survived by eleven Great-grandchildren.
