He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Lee Scott; his son Steven Charles Shelburn of Modesto, CA; his wife Cheryl Ann Gillanand; his daughter Jessica Ann Shelburn of Firth, NE; his siblings, Charles Shelburn of Vacaville, CA, Amanda Biering (Jonathan) of Rose Hill, KS and Kathryn Huffman (Donal) of Eureka, KS; his grandchildren, Nason Shelburn and Andrew Shelburn; and his great grandchildren, Aidlyn and Nason, Jr..

A memorial has been established with Toronto Cowboy Church.
