He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Hazel Lavone Taylor (Lee); and his sister Truda Melton. He is survived by: his close friend Luann Weatherbee; his children, Rick Taylor (Leslie McCoy) of Valrico, FL, Janet Cummings (William Winkler) of Costa Rica and Barb (Rick Stout) of Eureka; and his stepdaughters, Kim Weatherbee of Eureka and Mona Vinson of Eureka.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Post 5 American Legion Riders.
