We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2020, at the age of 76, Jim C. Smith (Eureka, Kansas), born in Winfield, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill "Ralph" and Frances "DeEtta" Smith (Burres); and his daughter Kandi LaKai Peacock. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo Light; his daughter Brandi LaNai Toney of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Shaun Anderson, Kurtis Anderson, Katelyn Peacock, Kimberly Peacock, Timothy Luster, Adrienne Hollis and Karrissa Tanton; his great grandchildren, Everly Ann Tanton and Nora Rose Hollis; his siblings, Carolyn (Wallace Ratzliff) of Sonora, California, Lewis (Carolyn Beaumont) of Gardner, Kansas and Teresia (Mike Wussow) of Haysville, Kansas; and his son-in-law Ryan Peacock. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
