He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Downing and Esther Downing (Elliott); and his siblings, Jim Downing, Jeannine Ruth and Joan Barg.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Huston; his daughters, Debbie (Keith Ball) of Eureka, Becky Downing of Eureka and Gina (Tim Bizoukas) of Aurora, Ill.; his grandchildren, Dr. Jamie Ball of Platte City, Kelsie (Zac Salazar) of Lenexa, Ashleigh and Kaitlynne Bizoukas of Aurora, Ill.; and his great grandchildren, Karlie Debra, Landrie Jacklynne and Kallen Thomas Keith Salazar of Lenexa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (521 N Main St, Eureka, KS 67045).
