She was predeceased by: her parents, Hedwig Weiser and John Simon; her husband Delbert; her son Larry Lee Lechner; her brother Edward Simon (Marilyn); and her granddaughter Suzanne Michelle Taggart.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Lechner (Deb) of Wichita, Kansas and Linda Taggart (Tom) of Eureka; her grandchildren, Jamie Lechner-Crosby (Aaron), Danielle Lechner (Steven Eskew), Amanda Awan (Babar), Lori Watson (Justin), Lisa Arafat (Romeo), Michael Gill (Stacia), Joel Taggart and Kyle Taggart; and her great grandchildren, Corbin, Emma, Willow, Ryan, Chase, Brooklyn, Chloe, Zaara, Aleena, Zaman, Eesah, Aubrey, Zane, Tanner, Rachel and Tyler. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harper United Methodist Church or Greenwood County Hospital and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
