She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand "F. A." Smethers and Ann Smethers (Whitaker); and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her brother-in-law Sam (Pat Hart). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Eureka First United Methodist Church.
