He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Rosa Ethelda Watson (Atkinson); his wife Karen Louise Kennedy; and his brothers, John Watson, Richard Watson and Mark Watson.
He is survived by: his children, James (Nancy Watson) of Eureka, Brian (Kristin Watson) of Abingdon, Maryland and Jennifer (Matthew Peterson) of Clay Center. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1501 E 7th St, Eureka, KS 67045).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
