He is survived by: his sons, Steve DeMott (Brenda), Mike DeMott (Robin) and Scott DeMott (Dee); his grandchildren, Dustin, Logan, Shelby Anderson (Connor), Chelsea, Mikhayla, Jarod and Skyler; his sisters, Beverly Lind of Fort Scott, KS and Janet Johnson (Richard) of Fort Scott, KS; his nephews, Shane Johnson of Nocona, TX and Shannon Johnson (Tommy); his great-nephews, Tyler and Tanner; his niece Debbie Howard (Bruce); his nephew Jeff Neis (Carey Creason); his great-nephews, Hunter Neis of Lawrence, KS, Cody Howard (Ashley) and Riley; and his great-niece Elisha Howard of Eudora, KS.
