As Jo Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jo Ann. Though Jo Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Tate and Ruth McKenzie; and her sister Elizabeth McAnulty Schutte. She is survived by: her husband Hillis Prather; her children, Debby Wolgast (Wayne) and Dale Prather (Christine); her grandchildren, Jennifer Goss (Jacob), Christopher Wilkins and Olivia Prather; and her great grandchildren, Noah and Carter Goss.
Memorial contributions can be made to Bee Ridge Cemetery or Midland Care in Topeka, Kansas, who provided hospice care to Jo Ann and were a God-send during her time of need.
