He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dunavin and Ruth Dunavin (Ryan); and his siblings, Jean Colley, L. D. Dunavin, Roddy Dunavin and Bob Dunavin.
He is survived by: his wife Fran Williams; his children, Rachel Benoit (Steve), Jake Dunavin (Kyli), Taylor Dunavin, Tiffany and Danielle Pickering; his grandsons, Joshua Kent Benoit, Cole Benoit and Kane Dunavin; and his siblings, Paula Guffey (Dino), Daniel Dunavin (Peggy), Dennis Dunavin and Terry Dunavin (Annie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
