She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Elza and Pearl Francis Lee (Angel); and her siblings, Duane, Retha Johnson and Naomi Sutherland.
She is survived by: her husband James L. Guy (Jim); her children, Alvie E. Guy (Reta) of Medicine Lodge, KS, Charlene E. Conner (Ron) of Omaha, NE, Lisa M. Stoltenow (Scott) of Eudora, KS and Teresa K. Rosenthal (Michael) of Overland Park, KS; her grandchildren, Tanya Rust (Wendell), James Guy (Eryn), Pearl Mendoza (Christopher), Matthew Conner (Karen), Crystal Gipson, Jeremiah Hartley (Angelina), Joshua Hartley, Alvie J. Lavery, Jessica Hamm (Justin), Amber Jackson (Tyler) and Branden Rosenthal (Lauren); and her sister Wanda (MacDermott). She is also survived by 21 Great-Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials in Genevieve's name to the Eudora United Methodist Church or The American Heart Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
