He was predeceased by: his parents, Luella Lorraine Waisner (Neffendorf) and George Roe Waisner; and his brother Earl Wayne Waisner. He is survived by: his former spouse Taunya S. Powell; his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Louise Sato (Perry); his brothers, Duck and Fishing; his son Darren Waisner (Fitsame); his grandchildren, Eric and Isabelle of Lawrence, KS.; his son Devin Waisner (Amy) of Edna, KS.; his granddaughter Zoe Waisner of Pittsburg, KS.; his son Brian Sato; his grandchildren, Jaron Sato and Sara Ozuna (Josh); his son Richard Sato (Mindi); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin and Branden of Panama City, FL.; his siblings, John Waisner of Eudora, KS, Irene Wissler (John) of Lawrence, KS and Barbara Rollins of Lawrence, KS; and his sister-in-law Carol Waisner of Lawrence, KS.. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
