He was predeceased by: his parent Gladys Quartlebaum; and his brothers, Phillip "Skeeter" Cooper and Allen "Skip" Cooper, Sr.. He is survived by: his former wife Diane; his son Freddie Jr.; his grandson Trey; his son Fred Quartlebaum, Jr. (Christy); his grandsons, Fred Quartlebaum III and Mayson Quartlebaum; his sister-in-law Clara Greene; his close friend Lynda Lee; and his friend Vernon Riddick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
