It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ella Brewer Townsend of Eudora, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 96, on November 23, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank White and Matilda Jane White (Atchison); her husband Bud Brewer; her son Dean Brewer; her grandson Joshua Lee Smith; and her sons-in-law, John W. Ferguson and Marvin Mercer.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Mercer, Lou Ferguson, Linda Gentry (Larry), Dorothy Fry (Jerry), Brenda Smith (Mike) and Mark Brewer (Carol). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ella's name to the Eudora Food Pantry and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
