In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Duane Bruce had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Duane Bruce may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bruce and Eunice Alvera Smith (Johnson); and his brother David Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Darrel Smith (Kathy), Doug Smith (Pam), Dennis Smith and Deb Smith. He is also survived by 12 nieces, 13 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary (1003 John L Williams Dr, Eudora, KS 66025). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
