In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Merrill James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Merrill James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Standley and Dorintha Standley (Becker). He is survived by: his daughter Tina Zeller (Charles); his grandchildren, Makayla Huey (Coleman), Zakary Zeller, Adalynn Zeller, Mason Mackey and Clay Mackey; his brothers, Kenneth Standley, Kevin Standley and Rodney Standley; his close friend Kay Beck; and also Diana Feldmann. He is also survived by many other relatives and special friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Odessa Cemetery (155 K Rd, Esbon, KS 66941).
