James E. Johanek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2024, at the age of 71, James E. Johanek of Esbon, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elden Johanek and Betty Johanek; his siblings, Steve, Kristina, Mary and Marie; and his grandparents, Irma, Orlo VanWey, Edith and Martin Johanek.
He is survived by: his uncle Ivan; his wife Angie; his children, Taneasha Eckstrom (Eric), Andrea Morris (Matt) and Zediah Timmons; his grandchildren, Noah, Izayiah, Ezra, Aurora, Stryker and Jett; his parents-in-law, Sylvia and Leslie Swarts; and his siblings, Ron Johanek (Barb), Sharon Bergman (John), Nancy Stortz (Dave), Glen Elder and Tracy Decker (Chuck). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jim Johanek Memorial Fund to be determined at a later date.
