He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Putman and Margie Putman; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his sons, Ricky (Tiffany) of Beloit and Danny of Lebanon; his grandson Kendal (Rebecca) of Katy, Texas; his great grandchildren, Charley and Olivia; and his nephew Timmy of Salina.
