He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Bird and Margaret Bird (Thompson); his wife Patricia Cochran; his brothers, Larry, Robert and Donald Bird; and his great grandchild Kyree Tiemeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Rex Bird (Rhonda) of Belleville, KS and Ramona Tiemeyer (Mark) of Morrowville, KS; his grandchildren, Ryan Bird (Jacie) of Ashland, NE, Regina Krull (Spencer) of Kearney, NE, Aaron Tiemeyer (Jamie) of Washington, KS, Alec Tiemeyer (Erin) of Linn, KS and Andrew Tiemeyer (Morgan) of Linn, KS; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Alaina Bird, Raelyn, Bexley Krull, Henley and Emory Tiemeyer. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
