She was predeceased by: her parents, William Raymond and Nellie Laramore (Walters); her husband Paul Bennett Shumate; her sons, Victor L. Shumate and Jay K. Shumate; and her grandchildren, Travis, Shawn, Hannah and Jayne Lea Shumate.
She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Shumate (Gayle), Jerald Shumate (Marcia) and Jeffrey Shumate (Norma) of St. Charles, MO; and her brother-in-law Joe Shumate of Baldwin, KS. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
