He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Leroy and Grace Audra Ricketts (Gray); his brother Richard; his children, John (Blenda) of Ottawa, KS, Mitch (Becky) of Broken Arrow, OK and Lucy Walters (Jim) of Erie; his grandchildren, Jessica Myers (Dirk) of Erie, Amanda King (Shawn) of Ottawa, Drew Ricketts (Tara) of Council Grove, Dan Walters (Kelly) of Columbus, Amy Hodo (Daniel) of Ottawa, Philip Walters (Katie) of McPherson and Suzanne Ricketts of Concordia; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Ricketts of Coos Bay, OR, Clara Jackson of Bella Vista, AR and William Mitchell (Carm) of Kansas City, MO.. He was also cherished by thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Because of the COVID-19 situation, a private graveside service will be Tuesday afternoon at East Hill Cemetery in Erie.
