It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald D. Hazen of Erie, Kansas, born in Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Hazen and Gladys Hazen (Ewing); and his sister Barbara Doran. He is survived by: his children, Jill "Bunz" Cleaver (Russ) of Erie and Mark Hazen (Charity) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Madyson Hazen, Dawson Hazen, Kyndal Hazen, Jonathan Hazen, Kailey Cleaver, Kirsten Cleaver, Kinzie Cleaver and Cooper Cleaver; his siblings, Kenny Hazen (Carole) of Kauai, Hawaii and Judy Ng (John) of Gladstone, OR; and his brother-in-law Richard Haddan (Susan) of Stark. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Erie High School and donations will be divided between the Booster Club and the Auto Tech program.
