He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley R. Boone and Marguerite F. Boone (McCall); his close friend Patricia Simmons; his sisters, Jean Ann and Mary Lou Boone; and his niece Michelle Torchia.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Paul Sturm of Girard, Cornelius Sturm of Erie, Jack Ford of Erie, Patrick Sturm of Erie, Loretta Sturm of Erie and Christie Ford of Erie; and his siblings, Merle Boone (Debbie) of Chanute, Rita Wilson of Tulsa, Christine Douthit of Atchison, Clara Torchia of Spring Hill, Ellen Rider (Vic) of Kansas City, KS and Teresa Neff of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by four nieces, eleven nephews and twenty great nieces and nephews.
