It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Larue (Erie, Kansas), born in Chanute, Kansas, who passed away on March 17, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Homer LaRue and Fleta Marie LaRue (Brookshire); his wife Dorothy; and his children, Doug LaRue (Nicha) of Erie and Melinda Dent (Rob) of Pleasanton. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, a great-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren; sister.
