She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard H. Pergeson and Velva M. Escobar; her husband Clarence S. Sumner; her siblings, Donna Pergeson, Helen Morris and Kenneth Pergeson; her children, Tommy, David, Danny and Donna; and her granddaughter Katie Shultz.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Shultz (Byron) of Erie, KS, Tina Dodd (Brad) of Springfield, MO, Wayne Rhone and Mary Caughron. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in memory of Iva to Prairie Mission Retirement Village, St. Paul, KS; and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
