He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Richard and Blanche Richard (Stephens); his former wife Jean; and his daughter Crissy Kyser. He is survived by: his wife Neva; his son-in-law Keith Kyser of Erie; his grandsons, Stephen Winder (Brenda) of Erie and Zachary Kyser of Erie; and his great grandchildren, Sloan Winder, Parker Winder, Taylor Kyser and Jacob Kyser.

Memorials are suggested to the Erie American Legion.
