It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Forrest Wertz (Erie, Kansas), born in Oswego, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 1982, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest John Wertz and Mary Emma Wertz (Williams); and his siblings, Gerald Wertz, Vernon Wertz and Evelyn Perry.
He is survived by: his former wife Imogene Breeden; his wife Lily B Barlow; his children, Virgil Glenn Wertz of Iola, KS, Phillip Duane Wertz (Debby) and Donna Lynn Thomas (Donald); and his siblings, Marvin "Butch" Wertz, Ellen Ehrlich of Hutchinson, KS, Marlene Walker (Eldon) and Barbara Shetley (Rick). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
