It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Bettles of Enterprise, Kansas, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Bettles to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Bettles and Marjorie Bettles (Platz); his wife Patricia Ann Harrison; and his son Steven Bettles. He is survived by: his children, Roger Brock of Herington, Debra Elder (Ryan) of Hope, Sheryl Ward of Abilene and Michael Bettles (Penny) of Salina; and his sisters, Juanita Roberts of Council Grove and Karen Redding of Waverly. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dickinson County or to the Fraternal Order of Police and may be sent in care of the Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW 3rd, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
