He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sr. Shellenberger and Rose Leffler Shellenberger; and his son-in-law Mark Morris. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Feik Shellenberger; his daughters, Susan Morris of Yukon, OK, Denise Wyrick (John) of Shell Knob, MO and Amy Larson (Jeff) of Emporia; his grandchildren, Melanie Duran (Michael) of Albuquerque, NM, Josh Morris (Lindsey) of Mustang, OK, Brian Wyrick (Heather) of Lake Ozark, MO, Zach Morris (Meagan) of Oklahoma City, OK, Hilary Larson of Overland Park, KS and Abby Thomsen (Collin) of Lenexa, KS.; his great grandchildren, Madeline Duran, Ryan Morris, Madison Morris and Wolfe Wyrick; and his siblings, Betty Mason (Don) of Kingman, KS and George Shellenberger of Council Grove, KS..
