She was predeceased by: her parents, Christof Johnson and Amelia Eppler Johnson; her husband Robert J. Hulse; her son-in-law Eric Pedersen; and her siblings, Leona Hawks, Dorothy Raines, Vernon Johnson, Ronald Johnson, Gaylord Johnson, Arlene Johnson and Darlene Messman.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hulse (Bilinda) of Rockport, TX, Tim Hulse (Joanie) of Overland Park, KS, Rob Hulse (Jamie) of Lawrence, KS and Susan; her grandchildren, Amy Sievert (Mike), Kaitlin Koelsch (Todd), JD Pedersen, Drew Hulse (Whitley), Nate Hulse (Aletha Loeb) and Trey Hulse; and her great grandchildren, Elle Sievert and Hudson Hulse.
