She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton D Merritt and Shirley Marie Merritt (Cowgill); her son Russell Edward Rathke (Rusty); and her sister-in-law Patricia Merritt (Patty). She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Ann Seeley (Sam) and Linsey Marie Hopkins (Bret); her husband Edward Rathke; her grandchildren, Sophia Seeley, Calvin Seeley, Briar Hopkins and Landon Hopkins; her siblings, Brad Merritt (Eileen Breslin), Scott Merritt (Marian) and Sheila Markley (Joe); and her sister-in-law Eileen Jenek (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great, great nephew.
Memorial contributions to American Legion Post #5 "Bingo Fund," Hand In Hand Hospice, or Messiah Lutheran Church.
