It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Burton of Emporia, Kansas, born in Council Grove, Kansas, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Buchman and Irene Buchman (Smith). She is survived by: her husband Gary Zane Burton; her children, Melissa Vogts (Brian), Scott Burton (Lisa) and Michael Burton (Samantha); her sister-in-law Judy Buchman; her grandchildren, Lacey Baysinger, Stephanie Bell (Donald), Steven Baysinger (Candy), Emma, Olivia Burton, Caleb, Spencer, Brogan Vogts, Zane and Isaac Burton; her great grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Makayla, Marcus Baysinger, Kaytlynn Burton, Aubrey, Garren and Bowen Bell; her daughter Lori Baysinger; and her brother Daniel Buchman.
A memorial has been established with the Cancer Center of Stormont-Vail Medical Center.
