He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Brockelman and Alberta Longbine Brockelman; his wife Jean Eunice Farley; and his granddaughter Diana Brockelman. He is survived by: his sons, Franklin Lee Brockelman of Lampe and Ronald Allen Brockelman of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; his stepson James Farley Sutton of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; his daughter Nancy Ann Brockelman of Mora, Minnesota; his stepdaughter Michaele Dawn Metts of Emporia; his grandchildren, Joshua Perry, Jacob Lindgren, Johnathan Lindgren, Julia Lindgren, Jessica Schlag, Joanna Lindgren, Ryan Brockelman, Mandy Calderwood, Linda Donovan, Rachel Brockelman, Heidi Micciche, Tory Sutton, Brett Sutton, Brittany Sweat and A. J. Metts; and his siblings, Jerry Brockelman of Independence, Missouri, Viola Jeanie Emley of Kimberling City, Sherry Stahl of Dwight, Linda Becker of Topeka and Judy Shilling of Manhattan. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 930 Graphic Arts Rd, Emporia, KS 66801.
