It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Joseph Topper of Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo S. Topper and Florine M. Topper (Brown); and his siblings, Ronald Topper and Elizabeth J. "Betty" Birchmeier. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Joseph Topper, Jr. (Mary) of Emporia and Heath Bradley Topper of Emporia; his sisters, Charlene Robuck (Jim) of Topeka, KS, Doris Rowley of Mulvane, KS, Delores Diel of Wichita, KS and Helen Marie Quiett of Meriden, KS; and his grandchildren, Robert Joseph Topper III, Luke Andrew Topper, Holly Ann Topper and Carter Bradley Topper.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (102 Exchange St, Emporia, KS 66801).
