He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hossfeld and Lillian Hossfeld; his grandparents, Emil and Mildred Carlson; and his siblings, Jack Hossfeld and Carolyn Cockman.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Anderson Slattery of Emporia; his stepson Jason Slattery of Topeka; his brother Stanley Hossfeld of Corpus Christi; and his nephews, Tim Hossfeld of St. Charles and Brian Hossfeld of Raleigh.
