He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCoy and Loie McCoy (McCloud). He is survived by: his significant other Leona Grimmett; his children, Peggy Price (Alan) of Emporia, KS, Dennis McCoy (Ros), Kathleen Wiseman (William) of Ottawa, KS and Tim (Sherri) of Hydro, OK.; and his siblings-in-law, Norma McCoy of Emporia, KS and Clayton Gimmett (Barbara) of Stafford, KS. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
The family request no flowers or plants; in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Richard and Leona McCoy Scholarship Fund at the Flint Hills Technical College, the All Veteran's Memorial and Park, Friends of the Eisenhower State Park, the VFW, or a Christian Mission of your choice.
