She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Wiley and Ella Fern Wiley; her daughters, Shawna Walker of Emporia and Lori Alcaraz of Emporia; her siblings, Jerry Wiley (Mary Ann) of Emporia and Shelda Wilhite (Leslie) of Yates Center; and her granddaughter Stephany Hale of Oklahoma. She was also cherished by several adopted children and grandchildren.
