He was predeceased by: his parents, Feliciano Gutierrez and Dolores Gutierrez; his wife Pola Gutierrez; his children, Manuel Gutierrez, Donnie Gutierrez and Della Benavidez; and his siblings, Manuel, Pete, Joel Gutierrez, Frances Perez, Rachel Skalitzky, Luisa Serna and Rebecca Delgado.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Gutierrez Jr., Mario Gutierrez, Amalia Ibarra, Honda Wells, Mary Gutierrez and Lenore Sarmiento; and his significant other Lisa Mendez. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
