With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Waddell of Emporia, Kansas, born in Bedford, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Bristow and I. W. Bristow (Pete) of Bedford, IA; her daughter Lynn Ann Guenther-Alexander of Lawrence, KS; her siblings, Shirley Ellen Bristow Sleep of Bedford, IA and Robert Franklin Bristow of Cedar Rapids, IA.; and her husband Gerald Waddell (Jerry) of Emporia, KS.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Guenther Buss (Matt); her grandchildren, Joshua, Ella, Susan Guenther Brown, Ben, Liv, Jim Alexander, Sydney, Zachary (Gerald), Teresa Watkins (Llew), Mike Waddell (Karen), Bret, Austin (Bryanna) and Abby Waddell; and her great grandchildren, Archie and Margo.
A Memorial has been established at the Wesleyan Church in honor of Norma.
