It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa Bell Johnson (Emporia, Kansas), who passed away on January 5, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Klinger and Effie Klinger (Lawson); her husband Walter E. Johnson; her sons, Gary Klinger, Bill Wells, Jim Wells and Fred Wells; her grandmother Ragsdale; and her brother Bill Klinger.
She is survived by: her former husband George Wells, Jr.; and her children, George Wells of Emporia and Kathy Libertus of Emporia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the H. Dale Buck Animal Welfare Fund and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
