It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Ginavan of Emporia, Kansas, born in Quapaw, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Root and Beatrice Bingham Root; her children, Stephen Ginavan of Frontenac, Dan Ginavan (Jen) of Lawrence, Kansas and Dana Witten (Joe) of Emporia; her grandchildren, Josie Kindhart, Blaze Witten (Kelsey), Broc Ginavan, Bria Ginavan, Isabelle Ginavan, Logan Ginavan, Tenley Ginavan and Declan Ginavan; her great grandchildren, Clara and Laura Kindhart; her sisters, Georgianna Dorrell of Pontiac, Sue Ingram (Ken) of Seabrook Island, Jean Martin (Ray) of San Jose and Pat Emig (Jules) of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and her daughter Laura Ginavan Livingston. She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
