He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe L. Smith and Martha Smith (Unruh); his daughter Teresa Paige; and his siblings, Melvin Smith, Vernon Smith, Lorena Stoner, Loretta Nelson and Jerriene Droke.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Jo Gowens; his wife Judith Blough; his son Gary Smith of Lebanon; his granddaughters, Debra Kennedy of Conroe and Angela Cheever of Emporia; and his siblings, Richard Smith of Oklahoma City, Verlene LeClear of Emporia and Jolene Witcher of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Food Pantry or Abundant Harvest and sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
