He is survived by: his children, Macrina Anders of Emporia, Julio (Angela Palomino), Mercedes (Carlos Garate), Patricio (Paola Palomino), Maria Palomino (Victor Espinoza), Jorge (Miriam Palomino), L. Manuel (Narcisa Palomino), Nancy (Ufredo Molina) and Esperanza Palomino (Victor Hidalgo). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
