She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Benjamin and Eula Evangeline Witmer Pooler; and her siblings, Robert Earl Pooler, Janet Elaine Reed and Elizabeth J. Pooler.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence J. Soendker of Emporia; her son Nathan P. Soendker (Wendi) of Emporia; her siblings, Norman Pooler of Dayton, Ohio and Susan Walker of Milton, Florida; and her niece Holly Walker.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the Church of Christ Church in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
