He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Parra and Maria Isabel Galaviz; his son Victor Parra; and his grandson Leonardo Parra. He is survived by: his wife Ofelia Parra; and his children, Lourdes Leyva, Griselda Figueroa, Berenice Parra, Fernando Parra and Gerardo Parra. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
