She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Schmidt and Ida Schmidt (Sterbenz); her husband Clayton Nuessen; and her siblings, Clarence Schmidt, Kenneth Schmidt, Larry Schmidt and Donita Simons.
She is survived by: her former husband Larry Henderson; and her children, Darald (Jane) of Lawrence, KS, Clinton (Juleen) of Madison, KS, Alan (Machelle) of Olpe, KS, Gail of Gardner, KS and Leanne Haag (Michael) of Olpe, KS. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The family suggest memorial contributions to Maydale Cemetery for improvements.
