She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carroll Schubert and Lorene Schubert (Ericson); her daughter Stacie Mae Thomas Heckathorn (Ryan) of Neosho Rapids, KS.; her grandson Landon Thomas (Hayley); her great grandchildren, Beau and Sophie of New Strawn, KS.; her sister Suzie Kaniper (Ken) of Silver Lake, KS; and her nephews, Steve and Alan Kaniper.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roberts Blue Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801).
A memorial has been established to the Emporia Friends of the Zoo with contributions sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. box #175, Emporia KS 66801, which is in charge of arrangements.
